Astro Awareness Sacred Circle

An astrological awareness circle is convened and created in the home of the host participant.
Together, we explore the basic meanings of the signs, planets and houses in the astrological chart and consider how these energies and influences are operating (or not), within our own lives. No previous knowledge of astrology is required.

Each participant receives an individually prepared birthchart to aid further learning and understanding. The maximum group size for a circle is 8.

Heartways Reiki First Degree Training Weekend - Saturday 6th/ Sunday 7th November 2010

This weekend is open to anyone interested in learning more about Reiki healing and requires no prior experience or knowledge of Reiki.
By the end of the weekend you will have received the 4 First Degree attunements to Reiki healing energy, learned the history of Reiki and gained a good understanding of Reiki healing, including the hand positions for treating yourself, your family and friends. You'll also be introduced to some simple basic relaxation techniques and tips for living healthily and in a balanced way. Learning Reiki is like crossing a bridge.You may be ready now. This is a very practical , 'hands-on', informal and fun learning journey over two days, introducing you to this ancient healing art.
Cost: There are 3 levels of training costs , depending on your own income situation. These are £175 (lower), £200 (middle) or £250 (higher). Please decide your own level of payment. The weekend training includes all learning materials and personalised Reiki First Degree handbook, wholesome home cooked lunches both days, refreshments and your personal Reiki First Degree certificate. If you are travelling a long distance within this country or coming from outside the UK, information on a good range of local accommodation is available. Heartways Reiki Second Degree Training Weekend 2010

Second Level Reiki is for you if you have enjoyed your experience of Reiki First Degree and are interested in learning more about this ancient healing art. You'll need to have some experience of giving and receiving Reiki treatments to yourself, your family and/or your friends. By the end of the training, you'll have gained an insight into the sacred secrets of the self-healing process ---- and the healing process for others on the emotional / mental levels. In addition you'll learn how to utilise the powerful energy of the sacred Reiki symbols and be confident in using the different techniques for channelling Reiki distant healing treatments to others.
A Reiki Second Degree qualification is the minimum requirement for setting up as a professional Reiki Practitioner.
Please note - you need to have trained to Reiki First Degree level before embarking on this programme.
There are three levels of training costs - £250 (lower) £300 (middle) and £350 (higher ) dep[ending on your own income situation. Please choose whatever level of payment is best suited to your income. This weekend experience includes the Heartways unique style of training matched to your individual requirements, the Reiki Second Level attunements, all learning materials, refreshments and your personalised Reiki Second Degree certificate.
The training progamme takes place in tranquil and beautiful surroundings, near to the River Tees, close to the A1, near Darlington, County Durham. Heartways Reiki Master Training Programme 2011

The Reiki Master programme is aimed at Reiki practitioners who have completed Reiki First and Second Degree and wish to progress to the next level of training. If you are aiming to train to Master level, you need to have experience of giving & receiving Reiki and be clear about your intention in wishing to train as a Reiki Master.

We undertake the main part of this experiential, spiritual / personal development learning journey for a period of 6 months, together as a small group. We meet for 6 day sessions, either Saturdays or Sundays and also for a residential retreat experience. Following successful completion of this phase of the programme, Reiki Master students move into a transitional 3 month period of 'energy settling' and quiet reflection, completing their training at the end of 9 months. At this stage, upon successful completion of all parts of the training, the Reiki Master student is granted 'the title and rights of Reiki Master' prior to embarking on their individual Reiki Master pathway.

An experiential astrological approach provides the main pathway through the programme. Participants receive an individually prepared birth chart & set out on a personal and spiritual journey of exploration and 'unfoldment', travelling through each of the 12 astrological sectors (spheres of life experience), over a six month period. This astrological wheel of life journey facilitates deeper life questions, discussion, inter-active group work and personal reflection, providing catalysts for personal change and deeper exploration. Prior knowledge of astrology is not needed but an open mind and commitment to personal learning through spiritual development is required for this sacred journey. Relaxation, meditation, spiritual healing, creative visualisation, self expression through shamanic movement, dance, healing & ritual are key elements of the programme. Through these experiences, it is anticipated that each participant will deepen their understanding of self, through the revealing, evolving process of a unique interpretation of key life events. Participants are encouraged to discover their own 'hidden gifts', unique 'potentials' and 'shadows' as revealed by clues shown in the birth chart & through experiences gained during the course. In undertaking this experiential journey, it is anticipated that each person will seek to clarify their own unique way of 'living and being', a process leading to a clearer understanding and acceptance, not only of self, but also of the unique 'ways of living and being' in others.

a relaxing evening of spirituality to celebrate the beginning of the year including a talk on the Sufi path 'the way of the heart' - with chanted prayers, sacred music, Rumi poetry and wholesome home cooked food. Everyone is welcome. This is a free event.


Introduction to Meditation 6 Tuesday evening sessions
starting 13th January from 7.00-9.00pm

This introductory training is aimed at those who would like to introduce a regular meditation practice into their lives.
The spiritual / health benefits of a regular meditation practice are now well researched. Meditation is
an easy to learn practice which can result in the reduction of tension and stress in the body. A meditation practice
is also great way to reduce stress in everyday life, particularly suitable for those who find it difficult to 'switch off' and relax.
No previous knowledge or experience is required. Come along, learn to relax properly and discover
the benefits of a regular practice of silent meditation and how to apply it in your day to day life.
